2 Days 1 Night Cappadocia Tour
Cappadocia is a must-see region in Central Anatolia, situated in the Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, and Niğde provinces of Turkey. This region, where erosion has formed caves, clefts, pinnacles, fairy chimneys and folds in the soft volcanic rock, offers exceptional natural wonders and a unique historical and cultural heritage.

Day 1 : North of Cappadocia
Your tour will start with a transfer from your hotel in Istanbul to Atatürk Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport according to your flight. You will take the plane to go to Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir airport where, on arrival, our driver will drive you directly to Cappadocia to start your visit.
Firstly, you will begin with Uçhisar Castle which is the highest rock formation of the region. The next destination will be Göreme Open Air Museum where you will be able to see rock-cut churches which were carved by christian monks. After visiting Open Air Museum, you will stop at Çavuşin which is the Old Greek Village. Then, you will have lunch in Avanos town which is located on the banks of the Kızılırmak River, the longest river in Turkey. You will have a tour in the town and you will go to the pottery workshop to be informed about red clay and ceramics. Thereafter, you will visit Paşabağı, also called Monks Valley, where spectacular mushroom-shaped rock formations can be seen. You will end your tour with Devrent Valley, which is also known as Imagination Valley. This valley contains many animal shaped rocks which are mostly in red colour.
At the end of the visit, you will be driven at our fabulous cave-hotel in Göreme.
Day 2 : South of Cappadocia
You will be picked up from your hotel to begin your tour.
The first destination will be Göreme Panorama where you can have one of the best view of the region. Afterwards, you will visit Derinkuyu Underground City which is the biggest and deepest underground settlement in Turkey. The next stop will be Selime Cathedral which is the biggest rock-cut monastery of the region. You will have lunch in a local restaurant to have some local foods. After having lunch, you will hike beside Melendiz River in Ihlara Canyon. Then, you will visit the Pigeon Valley which covers lots of pigeon houses which were built by the ancient inhabitants of the region.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Nevsehir Airport or Kayseri Airport according to your return flight to Istanbul.
In Istanbul, you will be transferred to your hotel.
