Nusr-Et signboard hanging on the historic door in Grand Bazaar

Social media sharing and salt sprinkling caused a huge signposting of the famous meat restaurant chain owner Nusret Gökçe hitting the Grand Bazaar‘s door at the Grand Bazaar in the Grand Bazaar.

Founder of the Nusr-Et brand, Nusret Gökçe, has opened a branch to the Grand Bazaar of İstanbul tourism. The gigantic sign posted on the Sandal Bedesten of the Çarşı was met with reaction in the social media.

Nusret‘s new initiative in social media, “When you measure the value of everything with money, Nusret also turns to the history of income”; “There was a Grand Bazaar which was not infested with this illusion, and it was also met”.

On the other hand, according to Esra Boğazliyan from Habertürk, Gökçe was the subject of curiosity about whether he got permission for signing the 558-year-old walls.

While discussing the signboard on the historical walls, the Fatih Municipality said, “There is no application to the municipality, and the Conservation Board needs to be authorized for signing the historic walls.
