Gobeklitepe is an important archaeological site. It was built 12,000 years ago, before writing or pottery, and is the world’s oldest ritual complex. Don’t miss this fascinating site that is changing how archaeologists view early human history.

Visit the Sanliurfa Archaeological Museum with its collection of artifacts from the Neolithic to the Crusader times, including Gobekli Tepe artifacts like “Urfa Man,” the world’s oldest statue.

The museum has a copy of Enclosure D from Gobekli Tepe. It also has a site called Nevali Cori, which was flooded by the Ataturk Dam. The museum moved it to this location.

The Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum is on the Ancient Roman Villa. It has beautiful mosaics from the 3rd and 4th centuries AD. The museum is also famous for the Mosaic Orpheus, which was taken abroad and returned to Sanliurfa in 2015. Many of the mosaics from Sanliurfa are also exhibited in this museum.

The Kizilkoyun Necropolis tombs are from the 2nd to 4th century AD. Over 61 tombs were carved into the bedrock limestone.

You will visit Abraham’s cave and the Pool of the Prophet Abraham.

The lively bazaar of Urfa has stalls selling everything from sheepskins to jeans and colorful local scarves. You can also see ancient workshops and craftsmen. There will be free time for lunch, and your guide will suggest places to try local foods.
After, you will be transferred to Sanliurfa Airport for your flight back.
